The beautiful Koko a chocolate sable pedigree unpapered mittel German Spitz was part of our foundation. Koko has given us Nala which we will continue with, for our Toy Alaskan Klee Kai x German Spitz lines. Koko has retired to a wonderful family in the Adelaide Hills and is hugely missed. Fun, quirky and such a beautiful natured dog she has made her mark here and we wish her all the very best.

I have had the pleasure of being the guardian of Sophie who is a breeding German Spitz mittel and also the mother of my own dog Lilibet who is a toy Alaskan Klee Kai cross.

They are the most loving dogs. Kelly absolutely loves each dog that comes her way as I saw when Sophie recently had 6 pups and we cared for them all with our love. She keeps in touch with us all and if any thing we're unsure of gives us great advice.

Nala is a cheeky little puppy that is 12 months old. We have taught her many tricks such as how to sit, shake, and drop (lay down) we are currently trying to teach her how to roll over when in the laying position. She loves playing soccer with a flat ball so she can grab a hold of it and make you chase her around with it. Nala is such a cuddly dog and loves to cuddle around your neck and wherever she can squeeze her way into a comfortable position. It took us a while to teach her how to go on a walk next to us and not try to walk off but she gets better and better as we keep taking her out.

Nala likes to think she’s the queen of the pets and play fights with our other dog all the time while also trying to fight our cat but the cat just hits her with his paw and Nala then thinks he’s trying to play. Kelly the breeder who we got Nala off of was so nice and understanding. Kelly was very knowledgeable and helped us to treat Nala the way she should be treated and raised.

We have had the recent pleasure of Halli joining our family. She has an amazing nature, Halli is so adorable, friendly and learns so fast.

Halli joins our existing leased girl Nyx and our own resident cat (which she has settled in so well with). Halli loves to visit the neighbours with Nyx and people just adore her when we go walking. These dogs are so easy care having one is good and having two has been amazing.

The last time I had dogs was 20 plus years ago (2 Norwegian Elkhounds). When a friend suggested I take on guardianship of a relatively new breed of dog, the Kleekai, I jumped at it. The best decision I've ever made.

I have Maggie & her niece Uki. They're gorgeous little dogs. Highly intelligent, very loyal & loving. They're very good with my cats, they love kids. They're very easy to care for. The only brushing required is twice a year when they moult, they have no doggie smell when they get wet & best of all they have teflon fur! After a day of running around the garden (even when it's wet) I let them dry off, a couple of good shakes & the mud & dirt is gone.

Kelly is very dedicated to a high standard of breeding these little dogs. She is a joy to deal with. I can't recommend Kelly & her amazing puppies highly enough.

We are a family new to the ways in which a Guardian home works. Since getting our gorgeous puppy, Fifi, Kelly has kept in contact and checked in on how we are all going and is always available to answer any puppy questions we may have.

Fifi has become a integral part of our family, she is gentle with the children, loves our cat and welcomes all the visitors we have come and go throughout the week. 

Fifi has a beautiful nature and when we are out at our local park we always have people comment about how she walks like a show dog. We adore Fifi and are so happy with being a part of the German Spitz breeding program with Kelly.

I have had Indi since she was 8 weeks old and at that time hadn't decided whether we were going to lease to own or be a guardian home. It didn't take too long to decide that we would be a lease to own family for Indi as I'm not sure how myself or my family would be without her. To say she is the sweetest girl who brings love and laughter on a daily basis in our lives is an understatement.

We absolutely love her to bits and cannot wait to see her bloom into an amazing mother with her first litter growing in her little belly as I write this. Indi is a integral part of Kelly's breeding program who will bring the most beautiful natured Klee Kai Spitz puppies to the den, a stunning nature she has inherited from her gorgeous mother Elsa.

I would never have dreamed of having a dog that I would breed with, purely because of my lack of knowledge in that field, however knowing Kelly does all that side of it makes being apart of the program a lot easier. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to not only be apart of this but for allowing us to keep such a beautiful dog.

Kayla

Luvo is retired and has settled in fully. In fact he thinks he runs the place (and just quietly he does). He really has a beautiful nature and is so easy to train. Both Wendy and I are so pleased Kelly let us have him.

Incidentally if I had a dollar for every time I was asked what sort of dog he is and told how beautiful he is I would have been able to retire all over again.

The other day when I was walking, a mother with 2 little girls asked if they could pat him. He was just so good with them! He brings us endless pleasure.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Elsa more recently. Elsa had been living with Radka for the past year or so and came to our home a little understandably nervous. It has only taken her a couple of days to settle right in. What an amazing girl she is. Elsa is so gentle and easy to care for. She is the mother of our girl Indi and I see many wonderful traits in Indi by her mum Elsa. Elsa is so well mannered, loving and such a quite composed girl.

We are surprised how easy her coat is to care for, it's maintenance free despite appearing high maintenance. No smell has made it easy to have two girls in our home. They are a dog that just keeps giving wonderful experiences for years and years.

My name is Klaus and I have Nene, well actually, Nene has me! Nene is my shadow and follows me everywhere, she found me about a year ago. We took one look at each other and knew it was going to be forever.

My friend is also a guardian home and had been wanting me to explore the idea of becoming one myself since I lost my beloved wife. This little dog has brought so much love and joy into my home. We walk daily, she has been the most amazing companion and I couldn't imagine my life without her now. Nene is low maintenance, despite her looks, she has no smell and eats surprisingly very little. She is so gentle, loves people and has been easy to do integrate into my life.

I am so happy to have been able to become a guardian home for Kelly and an important part of her breeding program. It has been a wonderful journey.

We have had Maya since 8 weeks old and brought her up as our own. She is now 2 years old. She spent the first 18 months with our 12 year old German Shepherd for company and she kept him young, going an extra 12months before he passed.

Maya is very easy to look after and brings joy to our lives. She is a beautiful companion and we enjoy playing games with her. She is a clean dog and only loses hair when she has blow outs twice a year. She walks very well on the lead and is easy to train.

Max is in hospital at the moment and I bring Maya in to see him and Maya is very well behaved on her visits with Max. We couldn't wish for a better companion dog as she is very loving and enjoys human contact. We love her very much.

My Name is Robyn and I am the guardian home for Tash.

I live in a retirement village where everybody adores Tash. The visitors I have all know the routine when visiting us. Treats for Tash when entering our home, Tash has her own beautiful chair she sits on and waits.

Tash is the grand dam to many of the generations of puppies at Adelaide Klee Kai Spitz . Tash is the show girl of all show girls, her nature is just beautiful and the companionship she gives me is one of pure love and joy.

Tash is so smart and will already know what she needs to do well ahead of time. She is cheeky, funny and mindful. Tash isn't a dog that gets under my feet, she watches herself and is always mindful of you. I have enjoyed being Tashs guardian and look forward to being her forever home throughout her life.

We love our Charlotte she has brought so much love joy and just melts our hearts. We are so blessed.

I Can tell you how much I love Kelly and her guardian program but I wouldn't have enough time and space, but in short we have been blessed with an amazing, experienced, caring breeder. Kelly's knowledge is out of this world and she is creating the most amazing puppies.

Kelly puts in 100% into breeding the most impeccable fun loving, loyal, smart, obedient Dogs.

Other than being a guardian home for Halli I am also a guardian home for Nyx.

She has been an amazing girl, she is super smart and has a character that captures the heart of many she meets.

Nyx is an important part of Kelly's breeding program, she is by Jack Black and Nene the two smallest dogs on the breeding program.

Definitly having 2 dogs has been wonderful, the antics and laughs as they play, the connections they build with other families and dogs is wonderful to see.
