Meet Kelly

I started my interest in animals from the time I could walk. In fact my entire life has been around animals and working with amazing people and industries. With many family owned businesses here in Adelaide, South Australia life had kept me busy, with half my time spent in suburbia the other on acreage in the Adelaide Hills. From Antique shops to glass and art galleries, Aquarium and reptile shops to my own successful Welsh pony Stud I can say I have had a wonderful life.

With a background of studying business and certificates in Veterinary and applied science I have been lucky to amalgamate these skills.

A car accident when I was teenager has allowed me time to throw myself wholeheartedly into the things I love and had forced me to live my life thinking outside the box.

I have had to gather my breeding stock slowly and have gone to vast lengths to research those I had chosen, whether it was my horses or my dogs and spent many hours training and bonding. For many years I leased my ponies to families throughout the Adelaide hills keeping my stallions close to me, I shared my love of horses with many families and enjoyed watching the joy and laughter they brought while breeding with my mares between pony clubbing, forest rides and long lazy paddock days, these families had first hand experiences in the cycle of new life.

I then moved back to suburbia.

I applied and adapted the same technique to my love of dogs and breeding.

I gathered my foundation girls the same way I did my horses and trained and bonded with those before leasing them to families, keeping my breeding males here with me. This has allowed me to grow as a breeder and, my dogs are placed in wonderful loving homes with families or elderly people that adore and raise them as their own.

My lease families are leasers for life, meaning after a few litters they get to keep my dogs for life. This ensures they continue to raise, love and care for a dog that they too will own. This allows me to retain a pup here and there so I can see first hand how the temperament and type of each line is progressing. I only lease to people in South Australia and visit them regularly. I offer my services to my breeding dogs and there families for life.

All my girls give birth in my home they raise their pups with me and then return to their families after whelping. This has given me an amazing life long bond with all my dogs and the families I work so closely with.

I believe this is a beautiful way to breed quality, happy and extremely healthy dogs.
